Cooked Alaska King Crab Leg
  • 1kg Frozen Atlantic King Crab Legs
  • Unsalted butter 1 stick (at room temperature)
  • Sriracha 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 ½ tbsp
  • Sugar ½ tbsp 
  • Smoked paprika 3 dashes
  • Chopped parsley 1 tbsp
  • Before preparing, make sure your king crab legs are defrosted by putting them in the fridge one day before cooking. 
  • First, preheat the oven to 207°C
  • Cut the king crab legs into shorter segments and then cut them open in half (lengthwise to expose the meat)
  • Then put them on a baking tray and cover them with aluminium foil, pop them in the oven for 20 minutes.
  • While it’s baking, it’s time to make the butter sauce. Whip the softened butter with a whisk and add the lemon juice, sriracha, and sugar. Make sure it’s all combined well and whisk till you have a smooth texture.
  • When the crab legs are done, spread the butter over the crab legs and top off with the smoked paprika and chopped parsley.
