Heat the oven to 200ºC. Place the mussels in a large oven bowl and pour some wine on top.
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Fry the garlic and fennel strips for 4 minutes. Add the tomatoes and rosemary and fry for another minute. Add the vegetables onto the mussels.
Cover the shell loosely, the mussel shells need space to open, cover with aluminium foil.
Steam the mussels in the preheated oven for 15-20 min. Until all shells are open. Serve with bread, dips and a salad.
