Sea bream, a rather small fish with shimmering silver skin, is a Mediterranean favourite. Similar to pompano or red snapper, it has a delicately mild, unassuming flavour with a meaty texture.
Seafood lovers buy sea bream for its succulent yet delicate texture, making it easy to roast, bake, grill, stew, or sauté with mild herbs and sauces. It is also, many would say, an essential ingredient in Provence’s classic bouillabaisse.
